All about me

I am 29 years old and I’m married with two children.

My passion in life is writing. I used to write little stories all about Mrs Pepperpot (anyone remember those books??) when I was younger. Being a writer was my dream job – and it’s killing me so much to be suffering with writers block. One thing about me is that I am bipolar and even the manic bursts I get are not helping me write – I have now taken to creating my own masterpieces on canvas instead!

My favourite book is Wuthering Heights. I have read it so many times and still when I pick it up, it’s like I’ve never read it before and I get engrossed all over again.

My favourite music is not an easy question as I like a wide range of music. I have always loved Bon Jovi, ever since I was young. I also enjoy a lot of 50’s and 60’s music. If I go out in the evening, my husband and I enjoy the 70’s bar because of the music, yet I very rarely listen to 70’s stuff at home. I am also a closet country fan – Dolly Parton is my idol, and I enjoy the mellowness of The Carpenters when I want to relax.

My favourite food is Chinese. I love it – especially crispy duck, yum!!

My favourite film is Blithe Spirit. It is fantastic, I can watch it over and over again without ever tiring of it.

My favourite TV shows are Lost, Heroes, CSI Vegas, Medium and Supernatural.

My favourite piece of art is Starry Night by Van Gogh. I also enjoy Dali and Kandinsky.

I also enjoy sparkling wine, maltesers, jigsaws, photography, painting and buying shoes!!
